Step 1: Open Stratix Xaminer

Launch the Stratix Xaminer application to begin the scanning process.

Step 2: Prepare the QR Code for Scanning
Position the QR code within the scanner's field of view, ensuring it is centered in the designated hole and not aimed at the red laser for optimal recognition.
Ensure the QR code is placed flat against the surface and the area is sufficiently illuminated.
After setup, return to the computer to proceed.

Configuration Step:

Select "Tools" and then "Parameter Setup" for scanner settings adjustment.

Input the desired identifiers in the "Sample/User/JobID" section as these will be linked to the report file and are not modifiable post-scanning.

Proceed to initiate the scanning by pressing the scan button. A successful scan will display the information or prompt a re-scan if issues arise.

Step 3: Scan Outcome
If no data appears, ensure all preparatory steps are correctly followed and attempt scanning again.
If the scan is successful, proceed to the verification step.

Step 4: Verification and Documentation

Confirm the accuracy of the Sample ID, User ID, and Job ID in the report. Following confirmation, select the preferred method for saving the data: directly as a data file, as a PDF, or printed as a PDF.

To Save the File:
Ensure the correct report is highlighted.
Click on "PDF" to generate a PDF version of the report.

Within the PDF viewer, select "File" > "Save As" to save the file. Ensure the file is saved on the R: drive, following the naming convention "JOB# Roll # QR#".

Confirm the save location within the R: drive.

Upon confirmation of save, select "Empty" to clear the current session and prepare for the next sample.

To Directly Save as PDF:
While in the sample screen, utilize the save icon to initiate the PDF saving process.

Click the Save Icon to proceed.

Ensure the report is saved following the established naming convention and file management practices.

This concludes the process, allowing for the report to be printed, emailed, or shared as needed.
