VPN Password Reset (York/Bristol)

This article should fix the below error message if you changed your password recently.
If you did not get the normal pop-up to approve sign-in on your phone, that is a separate issue and will require IT assistance.

PLEASE DO NOT UNINSTALL THE AUTHPOINT APP ON YOUR PHONE UNLESS DIRECTED TO DO SO BY IT

Windows 10 Instructions:

Go to the bottom left hand corner of your screen and search for VPN.

Once you open VPN settings click on 'CP_VPN', then click 'Advanced options'.

Then click 'Clear sign in info'.

**Continue to bottom of this article for the next steps

Windows 11 Instructions:

Search 'VPN' on the search bar and select VPN Settings:

Once you open VPN settings click on 'CP_VPN', then click 'Advanced options'.

Then click 'Clear'.

If your laptop was not at a plant/office when your password was changed (IE, you are still using the old password to log into the laptop), please follow the yellow text. Everyone else can ignore the yellow text.

Try to sign in again.

Your username is normally first initial + last name. ("Legacy" CP users will be first name + last initial)

Ex: John doe = jdoe

Your password is the password you use to sign into the computer every day.

Once the VPN is signed in press the WINDOWS KEY + L to lock the PC. Then sign back in with your current password. (Do not use the old password) This will prevent issues with mapped drives.

If it doesn't work contact IT by putting in (or replying to this) ticket.
