How to Fix One Note Print Message in GT (Example of error message below).

1. Close out of GT using the door icon on the utility bar.

2. Open Task Manager either by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ESC or using the Windows Search Bar.

Once Task Manager is open, it may look like this:

3. If it does, click “More Details”.

4. Once you have, (or if you didn’t need to) scroll down through “Background Processes” until you see Parallels:

5. Right Click “Parallels Client” (if the is more than one, do it for all of them) and click “End Task”.

DO NOT DO THIS FOR “Parallels Client SSO Service”.

6. Once that is done, use the Windows Search Bar and Open “Printers and Scanners”.

7. Verify that the default printer is not “OneNote Desktop” or “OneNote for Windows 10”, it will say “Default” under whichever printer is set as the default.

8. Then, for both OneNote printers, click them and then click “Remove Device”.

Verify that the default printer is subsequently set correctly (It should be either ZGK420D, Cognitive, Brother, etc.), if the default printer is Adobe PDF, you will not be able to print from GT.

9. In order to set a printer as default, you click the printer you want as the default, click “Manage”, and in the following window click “Set as Default”.

Afterwards, you should be good to reopen Globe-Tek.
